Our team sets up a clinic for the day at a school, village office or place of worship: consultations, basic laboratory tests, child growth checks and treatment on the spot. Anyone who needs more care is referred to the facility.

Why we go out
Care that comes to you
Not everyone can reach the facility when they need care. Since 2006 our doctors, nurses and laboratory staff have also gone out to schools, villages and community groups in and around Korogwe, so that families can be seen, screened and advised close to home.

Health education
Practical talks and demonstrations on hygiene, nutrition, family planning, common infections and when to seek care, for pupils, parents, women's groups and workplaces.
Part of who we are
Good health should not depend on how far you live from a health center. Community outreach has been part of Khusho Health Center's work since 2006, carrying the same care, the same qualified team and the same respect for every person that patients find at the facility. It is how we live our promise: Afya Bora kwa Jamii.
